Becky Harvey

Children's Physiotherapist

Becky joined the Physiotherapy team at Children in Motion in September 2022.

Becky is a passionate and committed children's physiotherapist and has a natural flair for working with children. Becky has over 17 years' experience in the treatment of children and has worked at Birmingham Children's Hospital and in the community in multiple schools, homes, NHS and private practice settings.

Becky has extensive experience in treating babies, children, and young people with various neurological conditions, developmental delay, postural problems, musculoskeletal dysfunction, and hypermobility. She is an excellent team player and works closely with her colleagues as well as with families and other health care professionals involved. Being an excellent communicator with a gentle yet firm approach, she offers wonderful support for parents who also know their children are in excellent hands during her dynamic sessions.

Becky is both Bobath and MAES therapy trained and worked at the MAES therapy clinic with Jean-Pierre Maes until March 2016. She is a keen sportswoman, having played national league basketball for 17 years, and she enjoys using her strength and conditioning knowledge during her therapy sessions.

Becky is joining Children in Motion having had two of her own children, which has given her a better understanding of the benefit and need for fun and play in life.
